The world is full of people who try to stay away from using prescription drugs and want to use herbs or homeopathic products for cures of their different illnesses, diseases or skin irritations. You could do search upon search for home remedies from everything from a cold to hair loss to athlete’s foot to stretch marks.

People will try anything when they feel that they are ugly or their self-esteem is low because of scarring. Stretch marks are a scarring in the skin with a purplish red mark. Over time those fade, but never completely disappear, unless maybe you get them as a teenager.

You can read where a mixture of codliver oil, hair gel and lemon juice with some other items may help reduce the appearance. Or maybe just a really good shea butter lotion or cream. Vitamin E and A are also suppose to be good on scars. With Vitamin E, you break open the capsules and rub the oil into the scar or stretch marked area. Some people will claim to see results the next day.

Regardless of what home remedy you use if you don’t want to go see a dermatologist, just remember that you could cause the area to get worse or see no change at all. Protein is highly recommend as a home remedy cure. Other highly recommended home remedies include oils of some kind. Emu oil, Vaseline oil, almond oil are just a few that are listed. Most are then mixed or used on the body after a lotion or cream and at night after a hot bath or shower.

Do a search on the internet and you will find several websites that offer people’s blogs or comments about their home remedies. Be careful with what you decide to use. Some advice to consider is this, check with a doctor or pharmacist before you decide to start mixing lotions, oils, vitamins and lemon juice. While you may not think it can be damaging, you never know. It is always better to check. A pharmacist may also be able to make a recommendation of something off the shelf that will help.

Joint aches happen to a lot of people. One of those categories of people who it happens to is women. When women reach the age of menopause, they have to deal with many things and joint aches are one of those things. Here are some things that you need to know about joint aches as they relate to menopause.

Many often wonder why joint aches happen with menopause. Well, as a woman becomes older, her bones aren’t quite like what they used to be. They become brittle. The joints stiffen. It’s a part of being a woman and getting older.

There are many who suffer from this. Some lessen how hard this will hit them by taking medication for it. Others simply just learn to expect it and then they try exercising and eating a more balanced meal. Other women try to lose weight so it won’t be as bad. There is no determining factor as to if a woman is going to have this issue or not while some women wish that this had existed.

There are many things that women can do. If they aren’t sure what they can do they need to talk with their doctors. As they do this, they will find that there are short-term things that you can do which can temporarily heal the pain and then other things that you can do such as pills which can help you to dull the pain as you get this medication in your system.

There are some women though who don’t have an issue with this. They could have done something right when they were younger such as exercised and kept their joints healthy and strong so that they could avoid having to deal with this later down the road. If this happens to you and you aren’t sure what works and does not work as everyone seems to have a remedy they swear by, then it’s something you need to talk to your doctor about as there could be other reasons than just menopause as to why you are having joint aches.
